PWJ
WIP 1/48 Westland Scout conversion RAN This is another of those long term builds that I have dragged back onto the bench. It is the very old Fujimi 1/48 Westland Wasp converted to a RAN Scout. Due to the vintage of the kit it is a relatively simple model with minimal components. The basic shape is a good basis to work from. Being a conversion however I ended up scratch building a number of components and details particular to the Scout. I have a lot more engine plumbing, rotor and smaller details I would like to add once painted and decaled. The final two pics below are with basic colours done and parts dropped on to get an impression of how it looks. Actually the fit is very good considering the age of the Fujimi base kit. Apologies for the poor quality of the photos, they are from my phone. Cheers PJ

I've been trying to sort something out for mine and yours looks great!
