Xmald
What can I say - definitely one of the best models I`ve had a pleasure to build! The CSM has done a great job - everything fits like a charm and the number and the quality of the details is overwhelming! I`ve used mostly the Tamiya and Gunze paints. The rigging is 0,08 and 0,10 fishing line. I think the pleasure of building the Big Ack can only be compared to WnW for 1/32nd scale builders! I`m glad I have the Late version to build My model depicts the plane number C.3549 from 35 Sqn RFC from December 1917. Meatbox8
That is an absolutely stunning piece of work. A museum quality model if ever I saw one. You feel like you could climb in it and start it up! I wish there was a mainstream model of this type in 1/72. The 'Big Ack' was such an important type and much, much better than the Re8, yet it seems to be a rather neglected type. Is the chap in the 'maternity jacket' wearing a monocle btw? cngaero
That really is something special. The finish is superb and you've made a lovely job of the rigging.

Xmald
Many thanks! The guy isn`t wearing a monocle - it`s just a shadow or my poor painting 5 hours ago, Kuro Nezumi said: BTW, how was the PE cowling to work with? The cowling is the hardest part of the build, but you just need to be thorough and patient with bending and glueing the nose bit.

GrahamB
Fabulous - kit and finished model. If more 1/48 scale kits like this come along it might even tempt me away from WNW. So good.
