Hi ,don't know if this is the right place to post this .

I read somewhere that said item has it's uses in model making ,so i bought some ,now for the life of me i can't remember 

what it is used for ,any one got any ideas ?.

Also ,before i bought some Klear ,i bought Astonish flawless wood floor polish ,can it be used like Klear ?.

Washing up liquid

1 use for doing the washing up so you are allowed to do some modelling

2 washing the sprues of mould release or the model just before painting 

3 as a flow improver in acrylic paint

Hi ,i think number 3 was the use i had heard about ,going to try using the Astonish as a fixer for pigments  ,thanks for the help.

@malpaso & @cocky05d yeah I heard something about dishwasher rinse being used to make washes and glazes with the vallejo type acrylics in the figure painting world...

You purchased rinse aid?

Just use white vinegar instead. Just as good a finish and much cheaper!

 

 

I'm perplexed as to what it might be used for model-wise now...

I guess it might work better than washing up liquid as it is anti foaming

Just been looking on the Diorama Debris web site ,they mention using dish washer rinse aid when using the moulds they make .

That must have been where i got the idea from .
