Pierpaolo
That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for a modeller.. I have always considered combining fuselage halves an important step in building a model I added small pieces of pipe to simulate the exhausts and I created the position lights at the wing tips

Pierpaolo
I cut two small pieces of clear plastic (from the sprue) , drilled them ( Ø0.3mm ) and inserted the paint into the holes. Then I glued to wings and shaped them 1
Pierpaolo
Some little progress on my Buffalo, now it's almost ready for the paintjob The rollbar is made from Ø0.75mm plastirod , the RDF Loop antenna is made from real copper wire wrapped around the liferaft container
CliffB
It's looking really nice Pierpaolo. It's interesting to see how open the structure is within the wheel wells - I'd never really thought about it before. Cliff

Michael louey
Very Nice Pierpaolo! About the only thing I'd change would be the canopy. It's always difficult to get the right "sit" with an open sliding canopy over a rear spine. Usually the best solution is a vac replacement if it exists. Pierpaolo
Thank You All! @Michael louey , canopy is the worst part of the model : it doesn't fit either in close or in open position

I had to juggle the canopy to get a reasonable "closed" location. In this way the Hasegawa kit is streets ahead but they don't produce an RAAF buffalo out of the box. The updated Special Hobby kit addressed this very issue - There's a review on the site: I bought one of these, if for no other reason than to get the nice set of RAAF decals that come with it. Your package of Buffalo parts arrived yesterday in the mail! Thanks a lot. Cheers Michael
