milktrip
Hello, I had a few options for this Group build but decided to go for a plane rather than helicopter. Kit: Tamiya 1/72 Mitsubishi A6M3 Model 22 Zero fighter. obligatory sprue shot After market bits include Eduard PE & canopy mask, CMK tail cone resin set and Rising Decal "zero part IV" I'll be attempting this bright yellow one. require some additional paints though, which I shall order soon. thanks for looking and hope you all have fun!
modelling minion
What, no rotors Aaron??!! I would have put money on you building the likes of a H-19 or H34. I like your choice of aircraft though, building a familiar aircraft in a more unusual scheme, and the "missing" tail cone is also interesting. I look forward to seeing you work your magic with this one.

milktrip
thank you chaps, Yes Craig, I surprised myself to be honest. The Sycamore was high on my list and was my first choice back when the GB was suggested but I've recently completed the S&M kit and as much as I liked building the kit, I was concerned I'd loose my mojo having built it already. I was also considering a H-21 / V-44B after purchasing a conversion set from DF-Helo stuff. Another on the list was the flettner 282 (still an additional contender if the zero is finished quickly). cheers Aaron
CliffB
This looks good Aaron, but I fear that you may be seriously out-numbered by the Grummans and Corsairs! Cliff
