rom1
Thanks! I used 3D printed nosecone on my Foxbat. it was rough, but once mr surfacer was brushed and sanded smooth, the surface became perfect. keep up the good work! those parts are amazing. cheers

FZ6
This is looking great so far. I'd love to do a Tornado F.3 in this scale. Is this set available anywhere? Regards, Mark
mackem01
This is going to be one impressive bird. You've probably not thought about it yet, but I hope your chosen colour scheme does all this work justice. I for one wouldn't like to see an all grey bird. Keep up the excellent work. Shaun
Looking very good, nice work...one thing to consider is the avionic's bay panel lines are different on the lower forward fuselage between fighter and bomber but I'm sure you've noticed that.. Keep it coming, looking great....
egalliers
Thanks for the input guys. The conversion to F3 will also require a few mods to the rest of the cockpit. Here is the Aires pilots IP. I chiseled out the central round display and scratchbuilt the Electronic Heads Down Display in its place Some modifications have been done to the left side panel as per reference photos.
Massimo
Hi, for sure he conversion set is very well thought and executed, but you've done a great job to let it fit to the model. Even the addiion to the cockpit is very realistic. I'll keep an eye on this interesting project! Well done!!!
exdraken
great work! I'd guess in this scale your improvements to the cockpit really show!, also already with the naked eye and no Macro!
djgriff
Hi great work going on here, any updates. And will this conversion kit be available to buy. Dave
Troffa
Stumbled across this thread- Did the conversion set ever materialise for sale? It looks pretty special.
Mike
I'd be interested to know too, as I have a kit with nothing to differentiate from the other one. An F.3 next to a GR.4 would at least look different.... If I ever get round to building either of them!
jet-mech
Simply wonderful. Following with extreme interest!!
Baldy
Hugely interesting WIP. Very impressed with the precision work and the conversion parts. Cheers Malcolm
ya-gabor
Here is a bit more on development of that set and also the ID of the designer, so it will be clear why the parts look so good. https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/59518-tornado-f3/&page=22 Unfortunately there are no up-dates since then. At Sea
Stunning work, and what looks to be a very thoughtfully engineered conversion. We modellers are a funny breed though, I'm setting out to convert a Revell F.3 in 1/48 to an F.2. Contrary b'tard's the lot of us! 🤣
