Glutinous pic post of old 1/16 (pic heavy)

Recommended Posts

Ok so rather than Flooding the forum with a huge amount of new topics I'd just condense some of my favourite 1/16 models all done in the last 18 months.

Theres a few more to come still!!! I've a Bulldog and tank transporter to detail and paint too.and will need to take some photos of my winter KV1

note the T34 interior was based on photos I took from inside one at a show that was happily driving around the arena... the amount of rust and paint flake has NOT been exaggerated 😳😳😳

Nice photos of the T34. Now where's the model?

Seriously, that T34 interior is spectacular.

The rest aren't bad either! I'm guessing you are going to add mud to the Panzer's wheels at some point?

Rearguards,

Thank you again! ☺️☺️

The panzer did get covered in mud. ATM I'm out but will try upload some extra photos in the next few days. I'll also upload a photo or two of the T34 I used as reference.

There was plenty more I could have done to the t34, wiring for example and fixing a few flaws.

The biggest issue I had was he base I couldn't stop the plaster of Paris base from chipping with movement and removing the paint. Maybe I should have dumped a ton of clearcoat lacquer on it!!

The interior was done with lots of rust base coats over the whole interior then liberal application of maskol and a white masking fluid which allowed me to leave it peeling off like hanging paint. I really enjoyed the build.

OK, I'm astounded.  Wow, what a collection.  The weathering, chipping and distressing is just amazing.

I'm pretty much out of words and that's rare for me.

That truck with the 37mm??? AA gun is my favourite.  The T-34 is impressive but I'm just not a fan of the Russian stuff.

Give me an old beat up or knocked out German something and I'm happy. I love that King Tiger with the chain wrapped around the barrel.

Don't know what that's for but sure looks great.

Those guys sure beat the hell out of their equipment but I guess there aren't too many hoses around to wash things out. Must get rather close

inside those turrets with the hatches shut...phew!!!

Thanks for posting and I appreciate your comments on my poor attempts.

Thanks for the compliments @BlackMax12!!! Really kind.

The t34 was a LONG build progress.

The chain on the tiger 2 is just to hold the camo net... not exactly what was done but I didn't have any "rope" that I liked at the time.

The truck still has some weathering to do but I've stalled on it. It's full RC I just don't have the radio kit to get it going... (or the inclination to drive it ATM)

the KT, Bulldog and the KV1 are also Full RC.

@Mike what is Karl's brother going to be riding in?
