Progress. So far so good. Side applique armour needs to be adjusted so have taken it off.... Enjoying the build but the suspension has me a tad worried....

Suspension isn't too bad to do, but do it one unit at a time. Big piles of bits just makes it confusing!

Yeah, did on the easy-8 and the M10.....

Asuka suspension is little complicate, but this is the best Shermans on the market.

Hi Rob. Definitely interested to see this one in progress. I've got one in the stash so I'm going to bookmark your thread. Looking good so far.

Kind regards,

Hi Rob,

Looking good. Not you, the Sherman!  Well, as good as an ugly Sherman can be said to be looking good anyway. I prefer the look of the Shermans with the flat upper hulls and all the angles.

I also will bookmark.

Rearguards,

Badder

Nice progress Rob, are you depicting it as a British or a US tank? I normally find the running gear a bit of a chore, but for some reason I like how the Tasca bogies build up.

think this is build done. going to leave th MG without an ammo box. wheels left off for ease of painting and I am adding the hedge cutter that was in the kit but no instructions (got them off the internet)

B&W pre-shading and then AK Interactive Light OD Base... for once i didnt go too overboard but i need to do something about my airbrushes.... not flowing properly even after full clean (mind the H&S does have a crack in the nozzle so needs replacing)

Looks good, hope after oils do not go too dark.

Just in case do not forget that this bar next to the pick head it is handle for it - not a metal bar.

That Matt varnish worked really well Robert, which brand of varnish did you use?

cheers ozzy.... after trial and error on a few brands i now use Windsor & Newton Galleria acrylic matt varnish. Sprays unthinned, no whitening, can be brushed straight from the bottle.... cant recommend it highly enough
