rs2man
Can anyone tell me what colour F-80 cockpits were painted ? I'm guessing either black or interior green , but could do with some definite info. John Green Nantwich , Cheshire

rs2man
That , my friend , is excellent . Couldn't be any clearer than that. Many thanks John
Don McIntyre
I've also seen a contemporary photo with the cockpit overall Interior Green (except for the IP and side consoles, of course).
TheRealMrEd
I'd go with IG overall, with black console tops and IP, certainly for the P-80 A and B, and most of the "C" Models. Some of the later "C" models may have had black above the console tops. Ed
RidgeRunner
Now that's a coincidence. I was about to ask the very same thing in readiness for my next two builds ;). Thanks a lot. Martin

RidgeRunner
All, Leading on from the posting earlier, I am building an F-80C as it was MDAP supplied in the late 1950s. Are these colours still okay for that? Also, what would the correct seat colour be? That is a bang seat, as per T-33. I guess FS36231? Thanks.
