Field Kitchen

Hello

Does any one know what colour,s the German  Field kitchen was painted??   Horse drawn type ?? Not the limber(?) but the actual cooking unit with chimney and stove

Common sense would suggest all the hot bits would have been blackleaded like a period kitchen range (as that's what they were on wheels).

Of course common sense and armies rarely meet...
