goon
Hi All, Does anyone know if the new Kitty Hawk 1/48 UH-1D (which has H variants listed on the decals) can be used to represent an Argentine UH-1H from 1982? (I don't see why not, but Hueys are so far out of my comfort zone thought it wise to ask before ordering.) Thanks! Gareth
diegodc84
Hi Gareth, The kitty hawk kit is basically a UH-1D/H, so it's possible to build an Argentine Army Huey. (not Air Force Hueys, those were Bell 212). Based on the pictures, some (if not all) Army helicopters had the ARC-102 HF antenna installed on the tailboom (zig zag shaped antenna), which is not provided in the kit. Everything else is in there. Do you have the decals? goon
Great, thanks for the information. Looks like there were no major differences so I'll be adding to my Falklands collection soon. Cheers, Gareth
