PhotoBucket are no longer permitting 3rd party hosting   01/07/17

As most of you are now painfully aware, Photobucket (PB) are stopping/have stopped allowing their members to link their accumulated years of photos into forums and the like, which they call 3rd party linking.  You can give them a non-refundable $399 a year to allow links, but I doubt that many will be rushing to take them up on that offer.  If you've previously paid them for the Pro account, it looks like you've got until your renewal to find another place to host your files, but you too will be subject to this ban unless you fork over a lot of cash.   PB seem to be making a concerted move to another type of customer, having been the butt of much displeasure over the years of a constantly worsening user interface, sloth and advertising pop-ups, with the result that they clearly don't give a hoot about the free members anymore.  If you don't have web space included in your internet package, you need to start looking for another photo host, but choose carefully, as some may follow suit and ditch their "free" members at some point.  The lesson there is keep local backups on your hard drive of everything you upload, so you can walk away if the same thing happens.   There's a thread on the subject here, so please use that to curse them, look for solutions or generall grouse about their mental capacity.   Not a nice situation for the forum users that hosted all their photos there, and there will now be a host of useless threads that relied heavily on photos from PB, but as there's not much we can do other than petition for a more equitable solution, I suggest we make the best of what we have and move on.  One thing is for certain.  It won't win them any friends, but they may not care at this point.    Mike.

They should have left Opal Fruits alone too. Fruit gums aren't the same.

Why did they have to take the cardboard tray out of Bounty Bars? I used to like sniffing it  . I'm sure Wagon Wheels had them too :hmmm: ?

I like sniffing After Eight mint packets too :).

There was no good reason for changing the Marathon. What are they going to do next, change a Mars bar to a 'Sunderpants'?

Back to biscuits; has the chocolate changed on Club Biscuits? The Kit Kat chocolate went to pot years ago; probably not coincidentally around the time they changed the wrappers from foil and paper, to something with far less character.

Just found my Ginger Nuts, going to give them a good dunking. They won't crumble if I'm careful. I'm never sure which is best for dunking; Rich Tea or Ginger nuts. I still regard Hobnobs as suspiciously modern

Actually I am giving up on biscuits.

I have gone over to radishes. 60p a bunch. Fresh. Nice colour. Hot. One of your five (providing you eat more than one, ie 2).

Cut out sweets now into these radishes. Try a radish sandwich.

Ginger nut dunking is heaven. It is of course an art. To much dunking can course a catastrophe.

It is a fine line. To much dunking can result in a  life changing episode. The bottom of the ginger

nut separates and falls into the hot tea. A disaster.

It takes a life time of dunking to master the art.

Fig Rolls aren't what they used to be.

It's getting really hard to find a nice Lemon Puff

I'm sure if you frequent certain bars and clubs you will not be disappointed.

Boy oh boy you have not tasted anything yet. Donkey burgers low class Guernsey stuff.

Now in Jersey we have crappaud-burgers. Superb.

(just to reassure the moderators : Crappauds are actually Jersey Toads but then every body knows that)

Mr Speaker!

Has the parcel, as asked above by my learned friend, arrived yet?

Are chocolate ginger nuts available for purchase?

Does anyone listen to Accordion Rap?

Radish smadish, already. Are they Kosher?

I find it disturbing that Garage Oompah seems to

have withered away to almost nothing nowadays.

Who can forget the famous Stuttgart based band,

Gebruder Teufel mit metallisch autofish?

Orchestrated madness bar timing off beat crescendo turning and hitting a chord without harmony but must march sharply on with measure but with rhythm holding my staff dynamically to have a drink in the cavatina.

Just to show that we Cornish enjoy a bit of schadenfreude I'm thinking of opening a fried seagull takeaway in St. Ives and encourage patrons to eat them in the street.

Yes well I have often, sorry always, thought that Cornish people were weird.

Just shows you can be wrong at times, they are very weird.
