10th BM Anniversary GB Chat

Recommended Posts

Since this new style page format has been in place its been hitting me in the face that BM has been around since '07

~~ 10 years

I reckon such an anniversary must not pass quietly

Sooooooo, hows about a 10th Anniversary GB?

Any subject matter but  what ever it is it has to have 10 in the title/name

eg Harrier T.10

Ilyushin Il-10

Chipmunk T.10

10th Royal Hussars

M10 Tank Destroyer

9F Evening Star 2-10-0 locomotive

Jaguar Mk.X [a car, for you wingy people who reckon the only Jaguar is a Sepecat one!]

Perhaps allowing it to be a 100, 200 etcetera with a 10, eg a Messerschmitt 110/210/410 cos there may not be too many subjects with just a 10/X

Be adventerous; find the number 10 in the kit name

I reckon I could enter a P-47 from the 10th Fighter Squadron (five minutes research on Hannants shows decals for the 310th FS as a back up plan) so I'm on board.

And I joined in april.

Ten years already!

Please count me in.

I'm thinking about finding my first WIP/RFI, get the same kit, and see what I can do with the "10".

Just found my 2008 yearbook!

My first real WIP was the 1/35 JaTi from Dragon, but I never really finished it.

A few months later, there was the Kfir from Hasegawa in 1/72, and this one was the real first complete WIP then RFIed.

Got the kit, now for the 10.

Back then, I built a C.1.

Now ten years later, what about a Kfir C.10, also known as the Kfir CE???

I think with a little imagination you could get an enormous scope of tenuous links to the number 10 from all modelling genres, I'm in too.

yup, as long as it has 10 somewhere, the more the merrier

This is a great idea. I have a 1/72  Armstrong Whitworth FK10 resin kit.

Please count me in :).

Best regards

Great idea.  I first thought of a BO-105 but I think that would be stretching the ruling a bit; I'm sure I could find something relating to the number 10.

Please add me :)

610 Squadron Meteor F.8?

I have a Matchbox two seater, Aeroclub single seat conversion and (I think) stickies from an old Scale Aircraft Modelling sheet.

Plus the fact that they were based just down the road to me at Hooton Park - now Vauxhall in Ellesemere Port.

I'm in!

Well, I think I can join with something that was based at Flygflottilj 10, or F10 as it's normally called here in Swedish Air Force.

So it'll probably be a J8 Gloster Gladiator or a J22 or a J35 Draken...

If I can be allowed a Porsche 917/10 (it's got a 10 in it, guv!), and assuming that time allows, I'll be in this one. Probably have another go at the old Matchbox version, unless a rich relative falls off the perch and leaves me enough to justify me buying the MFH kit (highly unlikely, I have no rich relatives...)
