Manu
Hi guys, here is my latest build, the Eduard 1/48 Tempest. I've corrected it in length with a 4 mm plastic patch. Cheers, Manu. Edited July 14, 2017 by Manu

HansReggelsen
Ooooh! Beautiful! One of my favourite planes! It always surprises me, how big this plane actually is! On it's own it doesn't look that big, but put it next to a Spitfire or even a Mustang! Cheers Hans J
Grey Beema
Great model - I love it. I have always had a soft spot for the Tempest, a the animal aggression of a Typhoon with graceful Spitfire wings.....

stever219
There aren't many photos of JN751 but the few that there are show that, apart from the ubiquitous exhaust stains, the aeroplane was almost pristine. It was delivered new to its most famous pilot and he was quite particular about it, even having the invasion stripes painted on by the paint shop at Hawker's factory at Langley. I'm sorry, but to see '751 depicted with that much grot applied just doesn't work for me. "Bee" Beamont didn't have her for long before being shot down (in a different Tempest) and captured and I'm sure that by that time the aeroplane would still have exhibited very little evidence of "war weariness".
zebra
Very nice. Where did the 4mm patch go? And did you use the resin fin correction?

Badder
A wonderful build and exceptional weathering. For those who believe the thing has been ruined by too much 'grot' I say 'get a life'. Perhaps they'd like it better if it were posted in the 'what if' or 'sci-fi' sections? Rearguards, Badder
