Pelican
Hello, This is the HobbyBoss Spitfire Vb trop. The main issue with the kit was the windscreen that is not suitable for a tropical version. I grabbed one from the Revell 1/32 Spitfire IXc (I will later convert it into a PR XI). Also the seat, wheels, side door, propeller and guns have been replaced by after market parts. This aircaft was fittted with a internal mirror, not often seen on Spitfires. Hope you like it. Cheers. Spitfire31
Every once in a while, in among all those more or less worthy efforts to model a Spitfire, comes a piece of artistry that actually looks like the real thing. Bravo! Kind regards, Joachim

Pelican
Thank you very much folks, I greatly appreciate your comments. The Spitfire is my favorite aircraft (with maybe the Mirage 2000)
spitfire
Great job, a lot of people do not like this kit but I found it a fun build and built two, I had a US Spitfires theme going last year and also built one as a desert aircraft. I was a bit wary at first of building a Spitfire in US markings but like yours they do look good. Cheers Dennis
Hubert
Very, very nice! Excellent choice of camo and perfectly executed. Despite the errors, HB large scale Spit is a good address. Hope they make FR.47 or other late mark Spit/Seafire some day. Like it a lot Best regards Hubert
