PhantomBigStu
A record was broken few days ago for the largest aircraft to go down the loop, a c-17 over from the states as the static bird for the show season was flown twice down the loop very low down. As it happens the pilot is on a couple of the other forums, don't think he's on here but anyway hats of to Bart/C17driver/TrashHauler for a damn ballsy bit of flying https://theaviationist.com/2017/07/07/this-cool-video-shows-a-u-s-c-17-airlifter-flying-at-low-level-through-the-mach-loop-for-first-time/

Armadillos
Nice but hugely unimaginative, every man and his dog flies through the Mach Loop, not hugely challenging flying in a circle. But the real challenging flying is in the lakes and Scotland. Edited July 15, 2017 by Armadillos
stevehnz
1st time I saw a C-17 in the mach loop & I for one thought it looked seriously cool. maybe I'm just lacking imagination though. Steve.
Corsairfoxfouruncle
That was really kool. But it would've looked even better if he'd popped chaff and flares as he was banking through the turn.
