speedy
My wife and I have just come back from our Hols in the North West of France (Brece) and one day we had a low overflight of two Rafales. As you can expect it was a short event but the one I focused on was a single seater and it definitely had a light coloured tail, either yellow or orange. Would anybody know of any info.....? thanks Steve. edited to North not South. Edited July 11, 2017 by speedy

upnorth
Did you mean you were in the north west of France? The only Brécé I'm aware of in France is in the north west. If that's the case, then you were in navy territory as far as Rafale business goes as the naval air station at Landivisiau is not far from that area. Perhaps you saw this one: It was one that the French navy sent to the 2016 Tiger Meet in Spain. It might still have that tail art on it these days.
