Jim Wasley Posted July 13, 2017 Share Posted July 13, 2017 It looks the part these tanks would have been through a sand blaster and a lot of bleaching from the sun,certainly they couldn't go to the local car wash(or tank wash) you have captured the right look,thanks for showing your kit.Cheers. However....It looks to me like your Crusader has been through a salty wadi, got a bit wet and then has dried out with the salt crystallising on the tank. And if you look at it with that in mind, it's actually very good! I haven't got time to explain how to fade colours, but there's plenty of videos out there showing you how to do it.
