cathasatail
Hi, I was thinking of making my own decals to use on a 1:72 Lancaster: I would quite like to do the aircraft KB-864 of 428 sqn with the nose art of "Sugar's Blues". However, I am unable to find an image of the starboard nose art. From this link it notes that "On the right side of the nose is a cartoon ghost holding a bomb and the text "Ghost SQD'N" So does anyone have any "reasonable" resolution images of this additional piece of nose art? Thanks, Sam

That's exceedingly useful- however in the absence of any clearer images it would be very difficult to recreate digitally :| This build will be a few weeks away from starting so I'll see if I can cobble an image together.... Lawzer
There's some pics over on the airfixtribute site: http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=289&t=18401&start=80 You could maybe ask them how they did it?

Hi, I suspect they used the rare (as hen's teethTM) Zotz decals sheet. Thanks for that link though- it shows the ghost much more clearly and I can definitely work with that on photoshop!
