ProfSparks
Hi All I've been doing this as a bit of a diversion from paint woes. I was after some glue, and this came as a set that cost less than glue itself. A straightforward and relaxing build, although some of the parts are teeny weeny. It was good to complete structures as individual parts, almost like separate projects, then bring it all together at the end, something I might turn to again. Anyhoo Comments and suggestions welcome Cheers Steve

Darby
Yayyy; Matchbox ships! I did this one a couple of years ago for exactly the same reason; no stress build. Can't remember if I did Kipling or Kelly. Addendum: Whichever it was it was an exceedingly good time. ProfSparks
1 hour ago, Panzer Vor!!! said: Very good buddy looks fiddly Quite a few bits were less than 1mm square, but generally a bit of patience and licking the end of a cocktail stick was enough to pick them up and place them. The fiddly part was taking off the moulding seams and spraying them! Cheers Steve
ExiledFish
A very nice looking model! Marvellous fine-detail work with such small pieces. 1mm size fittings! Good grief (A distant relative of mine was an ERA aboard the Kipling and was on her when she was sunk).

Bangor Lad
I have one in my stash plus a few add-on bits and pieces. You may have just encouraged me to move it closer to the top of the 'next project' list. Cheers
