Revell 1/700 HMS Kipling

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I've been doing this as a bit of a diversion from paint woes.

I was after some glue, and this came as a set that cost less than glue itself.

A straightforward and relaxing build, although some of the parts are teeny weeny.

It was good to complete structures as individual parts, almost like separate projects, then bring it all together at the end, something I might turn to again.

Anyhoo

Yayyy; Matchbox ships! I did this one a couple of years ago for exactly the same reason; no stress build. Can't remember if I did Kipling or Kelly.

Addendum: Whichever it was it was an exceedingly good time.

Very good buddy looks fiddly:hmmm:

Quite a few bits were less than 1mm square, but generally a bit of patience and licking the end of a cocktail stick was enough to pick them up and place them.

The fiddly part was taking off the moulding seams and spraying them!
