I've got the exhaust area and the two bubbles of sea grey around the hand and foot holds to mask and paint and then it's decal time.

This is gonna be a gem! Fantastic...especially considering it's in 1/72. It would be hard to scratch all the details in 48.

I fully agree!!!!!!

You're a genius!!!!:gobsmacked:

Do you think I may use this red for my Wessex?

So we are getting down to the details now, decals soon :analintruder:

I've done the second main gear leg and its just push fitted in to the sponson at the moment, main rotor hub is masked up and sprayed up.

One question for the experten on the SK, main rotor section ( the mechanic's ) looks to me like its a blue grey colour?  Is that right ?

Cheers Andy , I spotted the issue with the grey patch on the side after the masks were cut so it will get sorted today. I take it that the tail rotor hub is the same blue grey as the main rotor hub as well ?

And done ;)

The lower foot hold was the worrying one it had the potential to be Overspray Zentrum because of the detail

but its come out good

Decals next I fear :analintruder: And how the hell do I weather this up ... I don't build aircraft, Bit of mud and some chipping here and there ?
