stephen8718
Hi Guys i recently bought a second hand Paasche XL80 Airbrush. the fitting is loose on the air hose is loose and old and allowing air to escape. Does anyone know what size the thread is on the Airbrush gun so i can purchase some sort of connecter to my hose from my cheap chinese compressor or buy a new hose with the sizes needed for both ends . many thanks
little-cars
Have you tried PTFE tape on the airbrush thread ? If it's just a bit loose this would be the first thing I would try. Paasche have their own thread size, you can connect it to a standard 1/8th hose that you usually get with chinese compressors. The simplest way yo connect them would be with quick release connectors, the male part for the paasche brush and female part that fits to the larger standard 1/8th hose. http://www.modellingtools.co.uk/quick-release-male-27mm-to-female-for-paasche-3566-p.asp http://www.modellingtools.co.uk/quick-release-27mm-to-18-m--for-18th-hose-104403-3554-p.asp Hope that helps, Paul
