Aerobatic Zlin

Recommended Posts

Finished this recently, it's the Brengun 1/72 Zlin Z-50 aerobatic aircraft. The complex colour-scheme was simplified by the use of Brengun's masking set, and their vac canopy and PE set were also used. It's a tiny little thing when finished.

What a gorgeous looking aeroplane.

Is that a 45 gallon pot of Tamiya paint, or is it just a tiny little model?????:D

All joking aside, you've produced a stunning little model of the Zlin.

That is stunning. Well done. I have to ask. What are the antennae looking objects on the wing tips? (Please excuse my ignorance):banghead:

Cheers Vinnie, they're angle of incidence indicators so the pilot can make a quick visual check of his orientation with the horizon.

Cracking job - if you had taken pictures outside against a natural backdrop I would swear it was real.
