Martian
I hope you have plenty of filler in stock, it looks like you are going to need it. I looks like Miliput looms large in my not too distant future as well. Martian

The best leading edge for the AAA battery ! For such a large gap I tend to use bits of plasticard ! Thank for the kind words ! Take care Dear ETI and have a good modelling time ! Grey Beema
Before settling on the amount of filler you need, you need to take a look at the wing unfolded. I have yet to fit mine to my Skua but I strongly suspect that the fixed upper wing surface is not going to fit too snugly. I am going to try fitting the wing outboard sections (mine will both be unfolded) to the lower centre section before fitting the upper inboard panel. When I'm fitting the upper inboard panels I'll fit it to work out which side will be easier to fill..

corsaircorp
Hello @Martian Hale Hope that your R-5 is a little bit better than this one !! Mine will not be finished tomorrow for sure !! Scratch building is "de rigueur" Quoting a movie title and the corresponding Iron Maiden song " The emptiness of the poor fonderie chopper " That's a manner for me to say "Where did i put my fingers once again !!" That's modelling, if not, where would be the pleasure ?? Sincerely. CC
Martian
I did warn you about Fonderie kits but clearly you had had too much of that Belgian rocket fuel you were carting about the other weekend! Martian the Sober
corsaircorp
Hello Dear ETI Did'nt bought Fonderie kit since I became a member of BM !! I can resist to anything but the temptation !! Are you going to start that Alizé any sooner, c'm on and join the fraternity of the Fonderie scratchers ! Ok will bring on more rocket fuel for SMW 2019 !! and we gonna be sober of course ! like any @Martian Hale can be ! Sincerely. CC
Martian
The Alize will follow the Tracker on the production line. I have quite enough trying to destroy what little is left of my sanity as it is. Wibble. Martian PS: I think we now need a smiley with a pair of underpants on it's head and a pencil up each nostril.

Mike
It's appreciated - we've got some younger members, and I'd hate for that awkward question about those words to be as a result of visiting our forums. I'm a bit of a recreational swearer myself, but on the forum I always keep it clean
corsaircorp
Hello dears, Raaaah 8 days without modelling, I became nervous and start scratching and itching myself... In the middle of the day, snow still falling and Niederwambach is a tiny village in the Westerwald.. 13 Kms for getting in the hotel, on tiny road covered with compacted snow... That's the image of the relief Very good hotel !! And indeed a very german meal for replenishment after a hard day ! Witlock gulash with pear and a delicious cream with some berries I mean this one Lord !! Believe me, I licked the bowl... There surely was white chocolate in it, it was really delicious ! Then in the room, I can place a bet on the favourite TV show of the designer of this lamp ! Ok dears, today, I need plastic... and glue... and paint.... Aaaaaaand Putty see you later ! sincerely. corsaircorp
Hello dears, still working on the Roc too, but thinning the trailing rdge of 4 wings is not Worth a photo ! But there was one air scoop missing on my kit soooo ! Will finish it tomorrow surely ! Then, I'll make a jig in order to have my wings at 9°, that will be fun !! Ok, have a nice modelling time and take care !! Sincerely. CC

Goooood, Will be at least a Roc this year !! Sincerely ! CC

corsaircorp
Hello dears Someone say "Plenty of filler !!" Hit the road Jack, crying over the slits of the wings is fruitless ! Here I go ! Plasticard, CA glue And FILLER, war is declared ! And the other side ! No jealousies... And she will be silver doped.... That will be pretty funny indeed ! Wish me good luck, think that it will help ! Sincerely. CC
corsaircorp
Hey Gents, do you know this meme ?? In CC home there is another one... corsaircorp
Hello dears, guess what ?? This evening I did made some sanding I also tried to insert the engine in the cowling and Kerplunk !! The cowling broke up, I make a mistake when gluing that exhaust staks, I suppose that the exhaust ring has skidded a bit and got out of center. I also managed to break up the triangle that get in front of the engine.... The frame is 3 time bigger than the part.... Sooooo, I also repair that But I start to collect some anger and start swearing too And Then.... I glued the deck in lowered position, everything went smoothly, I let the glue to cure and saw that. Time to stop any modelling for today.... A shot of rum and go to bed.... Have a very good modelling time, at least better than mine, seem to be easy to do Sincerely. But as the wing will be folded, I don't really care Thanks for the kind words, still I must install a gunner in the opened turret Promise to be fun too, I will need more Lamb's And the Bucc is still running on, I search in my stash for a suitable engine to insert it in the S1 air intake. Have a nice modelling time too ! I hope that our Dear Martian will restart his own Floatplane Target tug ! Sincerely ! Yep 4 Rocs in the same time that will be just crazy !
