Aeroclub Tiger Moth

Recommended Posts

Another kit rescued from the shelf of doom, Aeroclub 1/48 Tiger moth started some time ago . It was intended to be a Tiger Moth of the pre-war CFS display team but was abandoned after painting had started , when I discovered that the actual aircraft was a single seater.  I decided to restart it after seeing pictures of G-ANNI , a current Tiger Moth in the same CFS colour scheme. Model in finished in Halfords rattle can paint with decals from Xtradecal and Fantasy Printshop

That's very nice Andrew. It's not often we see the 1/48 Aeroclub Moth these days.

Beautifully made and a great choice of a very striking colour scheme.

That's lovely, well done for persevering with it. Which Aeroclub Moth is it? The vac-form the injection moulded with metal struts or the latest version with etch struts? All are fun builds but each has its quirks.

It's the injection moulded version with cast metal struts.
