Popular Post DAG058 Posted June 25, 2017 Popular Post Share Posted June 25, 2017 (edited) Airfix 1/48 De Havilland Sea Vixen FAW2 This was my recent entry into the De Havilland Mega Group Build. The kit was a gem and went together well. I added resin seats, PE cockpit set, PE ladder and brass pitot tubes to supplement the kit. It was Avery enjoyable kit and I'd recommned it if you can get your hands on one. Thanks for looking and please leave any comments or questions! The cockpit PE and ladder are by Eduard, the pitots are by Master and the seats were in a pack together by Quickboost. I would highly recommend all of them to enhance the build. Navy Bird Posted June 25, 2017 Share Posted June 25, 2017 Now that's a beautiful Sea Vixen. You've really captured the look and sit of the real thing. Man, I really wish Airfix would scale this one down to 1:72 (my preferred scale). I built the MPM/Xtrakit version once as a target tug, but even with a million and a half mods it still doesn't look "right." I have the CyberHobby kit in the stash, and I have similar half-baked ideas of trying to fix its errors. Anyway, I really like what you've done, it is excellent.
