I wonder how easy it would be to make a MiG-29K? Bigger wings, folding wings, arrestor hook, reinforced under carriage and eggplant SU-34 grey? Phantome
For those that might be starting a MiG-29SMT in the 3-tone gray scheme a word of warning: the Akan paint set is totally inaccurate and only the dark gray matches well. The medium gray can be reproduced by mixing the dark gray with white or a lighter gray, while the light gray can be matched with FS 36495 (Vallejo appearing to be a better match than Gunze). A rare case of an Akan fail but don't say you weren't warned!

DaveJL
Some tips of mine when building the GWH kit: 1. If planning to use either the Jets own FOD covers and/or aftermarket ones, leave out the main engine assembly and only fit the exhaust portion. 2. Shave off the locating pins when adding the rear section of the intakes (parts C61 and C62) 3. Use plenty of clamps when adding the landing gear wells. 4. At step 6, parts H1 and H6 are opposite to that shown in the instructions (left is right and vice versa) 5. At step 13, the main landing gear (parts C4 and C5) are opposites as above. 6. Leave off the fins until after you've added the whole intake trunking.
