Happy Saturday!

Painting action here. Humbrol #64 for primer, then Testors medium grey for pre-shading. It works!

After a couple of days I got the final color by a mix of 70% Testors Aircraft Grey FS36473 and 30% Testors Insigna White...

On web I found a lot of pictures of this O-1E at Lai Khe (Vietnam), 1966. I suppose AOA Decals found the same pictures too...

Tidy work indeed Alex. The decals will put a good burst of colour to match all that beautiful and fine detail as well as impart an identity to this one.

Pictures of 57-6273 show undersized Usaf logo on lower wing. In order to that, I used Aeromaster AN48804 sheet...

I still think this is a real airplane that you have shrunk down to scale:D

An astounding amount of fine detail and a build of the highest skill level!

Will this be for your own collection or is it going to anther home?

John & Terry, thank you for your kind words. This is for my personal collection of course.

If interested, this is its cousin, Cessna O-2A Oscar Deuce, completed on April 2017...
