dalea
Anyone know if the RAF ever replaced the pilot's harness in this aircraft, or did 1426 Flt. trust the Germans?
FinnAndersen
Replacing the German harness with a Sutton would have entailed cutting a hole in the seat, for one thing, so why would they have bothered? German and British pilots were pretty much alike in number of limbs and heads. Edited June 21, 2017 by FinnAndersen
dalea
Actually, I was just about to look for the photo-etch and just thought I'd check. Anyway, considering the time and effort they put in to re-painting it, they had to do something while they waited for the paint to dry. I do. Story is that it was repainted overnight. /Finn Edited June 22, 2017 by FinnAndersen misspelling
