Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk IXc

Recommended Posts

It was a quick fun build. Only for practice, and I tired a lot of new technique. I mean new for me. You will not win the ModelShow with this model, but really great for beginers, and for practice.

All sutff what I used are Vallejo. Only acrilycs.

Sous Lieutenant Clostermann's mount. I'm not sure it was ever as mucky as that but as you say you were trying stuff out & I reckon you had a lot of fun with it. What its all about. :)

Steve.

Thank you Sir! Everything is right. It was really fun. :)

As a weathering exercise, it must have been a fun and useful exercise!

The canopy looks a bit neglected, though, what with those frames where the windscreen and the sliding hood meet being unpainted… ;-)

Kind regards,

Joachim

That's a pretty good model, Mate!

Perhaps a tad too grubby (for my tastes at least) but some Spits probably had the kind of really hard life that this suggests.

And as a test of new techniques, you will have learned a lot for your next build.

Yes Sir, the canopy is my bigest mistake ... I forgot to paint it ... :( I had to paint it with brush ... And I forgot the frames. Because, I don't saw it. :D I need a glasses. BTW, I learnd a lot.
