DIY photoetched parts: some questions

so i was curious about photoetched parts. i've seen some tutorials around, i was thinking about giving it a try.

i've seen it's required an UV lamp in the process, i was wondering are those fingernails lamps you can find on amazon for 10 bucks good for the process?

i've seen this kind ( 4 9w uv bulbs ) https://www.amazon.it/FORNETTO-RICOSTRUZIONE-NAIL-ART-GEL/dp/B006RR7FO4/ref=sr_1_3?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1497908571&sr=8-3&keywords=uv+unghie

and this kind ( that actually uses UV leds ) https://www.amazon.it/SUNUV-SUNmini-Lampade-Unghie-Preimpostati/dp/B01N21O2EV/ref=sr_1_7?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1497908571&sr=8-7&keywords=uv+unghie

would the second kind work aswell in this process?

i may have some more questions but first i want to solve this one

Ok, i've ordered one just in case, for only 10€. already arrived. I'm gonna research the other materials i need, than eventually i'll ask more questions or if i'm lucky post some pictures of the experiments.

Basically, as you can imagine, the brighter the UV lamp the quicker and better it all works. The time difference is not directly proportional; ie 36w is not 4 times fast than 9w, its more like 16 times faster. AFAIK LEDs have too low an output to work effectively

Did you read the tutorial someone wrote up on Bitmodeller?
