Thunderbird 3 replica

I don't think anyone has mentioned this before.

A 30 foot Thunderbird 3 replica* at Humberside airport.

I spotted it today, I'd not previously been that close to the airport.

It's quite impressive, especially if you didn't know it was there.

Why it's there is another question!

I wonder if it's the same one that used to be on the front in Blackpool up by the pleasure beach?

Or as my son once mentioned when he was a wee lad "Clee-Thropes, is that anywhere near Scun-Thrope?"  

 

I still ill hear his voice whenever I see a sign for either place. I'll have to go and have a look at the Tb though.
