vags
The long awaited GASPATCH kit has been quite recently released so I immediately took the chance to start building two. They are both A-1s but judging from the quality I am getting so far I will surely build a B-1 and maybe an A-0 (future release) as well. Enjoy: to be continued...

mhaselden
Sheesh...you're quick off the mark. The kit was only just released and you're most of the way through the build. Makes my "no completed models in 16 years" even more embarrassing! Great work, though. And am following closely as the Hs-123 may need to go into my stash. Pete in Lincs
That looks like a very well produced kit with almost perfect fit between parts. The interior paint & finish is impressive. As is your presentation of the build thread.

Prenton
This is a thread that I will continue to watch, and then keep in my favourites - what a marvellous lesson in how to build this kit. Congrats! It has made me take out my Esci kit and see how bad it is, by comparison. I can see a purchase coming up, when I get to Telford in November..... modelling minion
This really is a superb build, the attention to detail is fantastic and the way that you are showing how you tackle the build will be really useful to those of us who also want to build this kit. The engine is a work of art and looks fantastic. It looks like the engineering for the fit of the struts and upper wing has been very well thought out, something that will be really useful to those of us who struggle with biplanes (yes I mean me). Looking forward to the next installment. Craig.

Jon Kunac-Tabinor
Great thread - and really well done too. I'm painting my "A" model now and spent yesterday mixing up RLM 61,62 & 63 from Tamiya acrylics. For the RLM 65 blue I used Xtracrylix, and once again I thinned it wth Mr Self levelling thinner - and wow it sprays beautifully. I wish I'd bought the 3 colour splinter camp masking set for gas patch now as I see a lot of Tamika tape in my future!!! The top wing and strut fit on this kit is fantastic. Great work Jonners
vags
Ι was forced to halt project A in favour of - easier to paint - project B in order to make it to the IPMS Hellas Nationals in Athens with at least one entry (out of competition though).
