Woodziee
Hello everybody, long time lurker, first time posting. Over here in Oz at the moment we are seeing quite a few anniversary markings appearing on our Classic Hornets, all of them look great but my favourite one right now is the 75th anniversary of 2OCU that they have applied to one of their jets. The kit itself is the 1:72 Academy offering, which I think is the best 1:72 Hornet kit out there, goes together quite well with minimal work required. I added a little extra detail with intake and engine plugs, made out of an old set of Hornet intakes I had from an older kit and the engine bungs were made from plastic card and putty. I purchased an after market Decal sheet that had these markings, but apart from the tail markings the rest of the decals were disappointing, luckily I had some decals in the spares box to complete the build. Thanks for looking. Edited June 10, 2017 by Woodziee

Horatio Gruntfuttock
Welcome to the Down-under Britmodeller gang! That is a splendid introductory model - those low-viz markings are very low-viz!
TonyTiger66
From another Down-under Britmodeller! That's a really nice sharp looking low-viz Hornet. Great save on the decals, the ones you've used look superb. Looking forward to seeing more of your builds . Best regards TonyT

Yes, correct. Each of the RAAF Hornet Squadrons have some sort of anniversary scheme going at the moment.
