True about the Italeri ( Esci ? ) Starfighter, a simple and well made kit. Got the one with the italian special markings in my stash.

Absolutely. The only downside is the slightly oversized canopy. This build, though, compensates for that by being great.

Always liked the Esci/Italeri Starfighters for their moderate price and good fit. Was happy that this version had the JaboG 31 decal option. Have another of these in the stash as well as a Revell C-model and a Hasegawa TF-104G. The problem with the Revell C-models is that all their decal sheets are unusable. Don´t know what do do yet - perhaps buy an Italeri C-model for the decal sheet. Unfortunately this kit seems more expensive than their previous releases.
