Giorgio N
A Tomcat with no pylon was a very rare sight, your best bet to find a good picture is to look for the prototypes and development aircrafts There's a good enough picture of this area on one such aircraft at page 21 of the original In Action book on the Tomcat, showing how everything is flush, with the attachment points covered by two panels, one circular and one square. From a modelling point of view the modification looks pretty easy, fill the holes in the kit following the contours of the aircraft skin and scribe these panels. If you don't have the book, I can scan the picture and send it to you. Edited June 7, 2017 by Giorgio N

fewr9fkr9595
Thanks mate! Looks very smooth and flush, no obvious 'attach pylon here' type fittings underneath the glove vane... Tony
