Look so great! Very delicate job!

What did you say and what do you think about an idea of possibility to make the engines area with the cowling open?

She is really taking shape now.

To my eye; this is a very elegant aircraft design.

Regarding the engines; long ago 'Goffy Model' did a super detail kit for this aircraft model with resin engines . There appear to be a number of different engine possibilities. For me, it was confusing.

I only had the Zvezda model, which is a little like a 'Do It Yourself' molar tooth extraction set :undecided:.

This kit is far better. An open engine cowl would look great :).

Best regards

Thank you for your comment and recommendations with regards to a set of Goffy Model (super detailed resin kit).

I tried to look this set but vainly, it is nowhere unavailable to catch (it`s no possible to hunt down)

Hi friends.

I continue to work with the IL-4 aircraft. First of all I will show you the result of applying the first numbers of monocoque sheet metal of the fuselage panels. In according with my plan, I need to apply an aluminium foil for the main area of the aircraft structure and wings surface.

Nice photographs of service and refuelling :).

I think the fuel bowser is a BZ 35 ZIS 6?

I have a 1/72 model of it like this:

https://www.scalemates.com/kits/139506-pst-72021-bz-35

A very nice kit; it would look good in a diorama.

There is also the Vector engine. It's quite expensive but looks very good:

The aluminium foil work is fascinating. What kind of glue do you use to stick it to the plastic surface?

Yes, this is most likely ZIS 35 B, but I suggest to modify an idea and make (I want to include other object in my story, because this aircraft was captured by Luftwaffe supposedly). I offer to use this opinion about of fuel track and diorama build (what do you think about it?):

Sometimes and usually I use a glue here:

But this time I chose this method:

not a very popular method among modellers but I like

That looks great. Fiddly, but state of art :goodjob::goodjob:. What a performance. Respect.

Thanks for the comment, Benedikt. My productivity level and work speed are not satis. I have not enough free time for the hobby. An additional workload occurs in the process of a build, it`s true. I`m waiting for the last stage of the final work. ;) Fiddly I know, but I have no choice. It`s  a very intresting project in the history of aircraft. :thanks:
