ADP MASTER modell 1/72 Iljuschin IL-4

Recommended Posts

I hope you had a good holiday Andrii. The beach looked beautiful :cowboy:.

I will now read about Kamyana Mohyla.

I have a very old great uncle from the Ukraine. Was taken as British POW, then married his guard (my grandfather's sister) after the war. Told me many stories about his home country. Truly fascinating, often sad.

Your interior detailing is superb. Things like the crank control unit are little works of art :).

Great progress, looking forward to the rest of the build.

Best regards

Hi Andrii,

This is excellent already. I look forward to seeing how you complete the model.

(I hope you enjoyed your holiday. I trained as an archaeologist so I just spent a happy half-hour reading about Kamyana Mohyla! I have always wanted to visit the Steppe. Not easy for a British tourist!)

Will

So far so good.

There were side wall panels of the fuselage structure, just connected and fixed.

So, what we will see in this chapter:

 - I connect and fix an upper part of the fuselage to the main fuselage body;

There is enough time, to make the compartment of navigator/bombardier now

Empennage

Any kind of decision about possibility to change opinion and modify any structure elements of this object is normally I think.

Let us assume that, (let us say) like this:

IMG_1769.jpg

IMG_1770.jpg

And etc...

I second Martin's comments :ditto:

Very nice work Andrii. The masking on the nose transparencies is sublime, it will surely have taken a long time....

Nice work on the empennage, it's going to look 'real' :).

It's great to see this rare model being built so well.

Best regards

Very nice work Andrii.

Thank you Martin, thank you Tony for your interest in my activity here and good comments on this page of WIP. I am really glad for your like it.

One more step of empennage work is:

- I have to make a moving function of rudder (I can turn it to the left or to the right direction)

(hinges, rods, tab, vertical fin and rudder installation)

The result of work is still satisfactory and I have the possibility to be able to change this kit higher I hope

Horizontal stabilizer, elevator and tab.

I can make its just in a static and for the visual effect in its correct (control surface DOWN) position.
