Thanks for the kind comment. Great little kit the Airfix Whirlwind. Plenty of scope for additional detailing if you think it needs it too.

Lovely looking Whirlwind you've got there Greg.

I agree that this aircraft does look better in flight.

I do wish that manufacturers would reconsider putting stands back into kits, aircraft were designed to fly after all.

Sweet !  Really looks the business posed like that.  And again nothing wrong with building older kits, think I will search this one out to purchase and build, thanks for sharing, more please.

Some models just cry out to be built wheels up, and a stand definitely helps in that respect.
