Piper L-4, Eduard 1/72

Here comes my third stripdown of the six Eduard 1/72 series, but the other 3 are not yet done. Its a Piper L-4

There was also a complete plastic kit in the box, but only some parts are used, like wheels, airscrew, engine and others ... Some struts and the gear was scratched in brass, which makes the model much more robust. I added also a rigging inside the wing after seeing a fantastic video about building those Pipers in Youtube.

The upper part of the fuselage is very very fragile and very tricky to bring all parts together.

 

It is nice, to have also a civil aircraft in that row. Hope you will like it,

Excellent!  Very well done.  I built one of those a few years ago but assembled it with super-glue as my soldering skills leave much to be desired.

That really is amazing skill, I cannot get my head around the techniques of soldering such tiny parts - fabulous little replica.

This will take a lot of time, because I have other projects running and should complete something before starting the next project. May be the already started Camel, but there is still a lot of work (the hard part) to do. I have only one stripdown ready not yet displayed here, but it's not from Eduard. Do you want to see that too?
