Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Ib RCAF

Recommended Posts

This is my recently completed Typhoon. Humbrol enamels and Revell acrylics were used throughout, all brush painted as usual. More details here:

I really enjoyed this build and I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out.

Comments and criticism welcome as always.

Looks great and a terrific vignette.  I've just finished the Airfix 1/72 kit, which is great, and really fancy doing another as Pulverizer II.

Great name, 'Pulverizer'. Looks good, well done!

'Pulverizer' is THE perfect name for this brute in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments too. :bye:

Can't see any pics, just oops messages from photobucket.

thanks

Mike

I think Photobucket is having a little internal tantrum at the moment. I can't get onto the site, but I haven't moved the pictures or anything so they should reappear once Photobucket has cooled off :)

Pictures have been restored. Let's hope Photobucket doesn't make them disappear for no reason whatsoever again... :suicide:

Nice. Always good to see a Typhoon. The real aircraft was a 'Bomphoon'. I don't think 440 Sqn used rockets.

Rockets look better though!

Very nice, this is one kit would make me go to the dark (1/48) side. ;) You've done it proud. :)

Steve.

Go for it, it's a lovely kit.

Yeah the pictures on the Aviaeology decals only showed bomb racks, but as you said rockets look better! :D
