stevej60
Hi folk's I'm at the painting stage of Revell's boxing of Eduard's kit.wanting to depict the one colour scheme Revell are calling light gray, way back I remember Airfix's kit being more of a light blue,a few build's on line show a definite light blue only one die-cast I've seen is in a light gray.Any thought's? John
Probably the best readily available resource on the Roland are the instruction booklets that can be downloaded from the Wingnut Wings website. Well worth checking out. John
stevehed
Hi, There was quite a debate on the Aerodrome some years back. May be worth a look. http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2230 Regards, Steve
Beardie
Personally I would go with a very pale blue or very pale blueish grey. Wingnuts also give pale cream as a possibility but I don't think it would make for an attractive looking model.
stevej60
Many thank's folk's,it would seem from Steve's link even the pilot's that engaged these aircraft gave differing view's on the colour's I'll go with light blue in this instance there was one in a similar finish built by a fellow member albeit the beautiful Wingnut Wing's kit which I'm inspired by.
berman
Anyone have a photo of the Roland C.II with alternating vertical black and white stripes (bands) on the fuselage?
