Kris B
First model with interior. Lots of work, and mods inside as interior isn't the Grant one, just Lee. I fitted the metal barrels and Bronco tracks.
Blaubar
That guy with the map, spectacular, lovely little diorama! His glasses are missing a strap around the head, ahm helmet, I think they did not super glue it to the helmet .
BlackMax12
Looks good Chris. I can see the interior is a fair piece of work for sure but you did it proud. The model sure looks natural with the palm tree and the overall diorama theme. Must have been rather toasty in there though, or just damned hot!! These Grants sure were ugly and probably didn't survive long against even a Pkw IV let alone a Tiger. Brave lads to crew them and the Shermans for sure. Badder
Great build, superbly weathered interior and a lovely little dio. I'm having trouble telling whether you brush painted it, or airbrushed though. If airbrushed I think you had your pressure or paint mix wrong or something because the finish is a bit grainy? But then again, that could just be sand. Kris B
Cheers lads. This model is one of my first ones when I just had not much clue about lots of things. Now lots of thing I would do different. I airbrush it, but as you said pressur to high and also this is Life Colour paints, which not work good for me. Black and white stripes are brush painted. Basically I has been visiting the Dovington Tank Museum and seen this painting scheme. And I want to try it.
Cromwell
I love the interior effects! Do you use the sprinkle of salt method where i) base coat metal ii) sprinkle the salt into a damp are iii) main camo colour the afv iv) rub the salt away to show the worn areas Just wondering.......cheers

Kris B
Thank you lads. Cromwell I used small painbrush and sponge method. First painted white and then chipping. All over it some Mig filter, I think for tritonal camo. Can't remember the colour of chipping, but I think is mix of Tamiya's Gun metal with German Grey. Radpoe Spitfire
What a cracking M3 build, my only gripe if I may are the US pattern Jerrycans. Other than that, the overall detail especially the internal is amazing - its a stunner. Well done

Kris B
Thank you. When I saw M3 first time in Bovington I decided that I have to make one in that camo. Also is not very popular on the forums. But I've enjoyed building it.
