Had a day trip to Madrid on Thursday, the forecast was for thunderstorms, but we got lucky and saw no rain til touching down in the uK! 
In fact it was so warm, the heat haze made photographing anything over the far side very difficult/completely pointless

Hi mate,

we were on the mound, and had 2 Civil Guardia come and pay us a visit with their very large guns!!! They took our passports and boarding passes and ran checks on them, but they were ok once they knew what we were up to!!
