1/48 Ventura

Hi,

 

I got this kit cheap, but had to really force myself to finish it. The kit is fine, I just couldn't get excited and halfway through the build decided to rush through and finish it. It shows. Like many before, it'll go to one of my wife's pupils as a reward for being a good student.

Very nice,....I have one of these planned in the same colour and markings too,....great stuff and lucky pupil, but pity you don`t have a local museum to present it to,

Very nice. 

I hope the lucky recipient is somehow inspired by it.  I know that where I am now in life is all because my father gave me a Phantom and B17 one Christmas when I was a kid.

I too have one in the stash with the Ventura decal sheet, I haven't decided which one to build yet though.  I'm even very tempted by a Canadian version.  Whatever, yours has come out looking great ! Just about right level of weathering for me.
