John Masters
Since I haven't uploaded anything to this site yet, here is a test run. Here are a couple of images of the Czech Master Resin Hansa W.20, an experimental craft designed by Ernst Heinkel to be used on U-boats...the idea was they would be kept in a special watertight shed on the deck of the U-boat and then unfolded and put together for reconnaissance flights while the boat was on the surface. Only three were ever built. This was a lovely little kit to build and lots of fun. The molds were excellent, the decals fit well with no problems. Like many resin kits, it lends itself to a bit of scratch building and additional details, like rigging, some brass for radiator lines and the occasional electrical line. Rigging is all stainless steel .005 ethicon. I can't remember the color, but I think it might be Mr. Kit German Naval Light Blue-Grey. I built this around 9 months ago. It took about 5 days. https://www.flickr.com/photos/109367999@N03/34363874640/in/dateposted-public/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/109367999@N03/34363874120/in/dateposted-public/ OK...I seem to not be able to load the images, just the URL...can't I just attach them from my desktop? --JDCM Edited May 19, 2017 by John D.C. Dazey
Hi John, I looked at the images on flickr – a very nicely done model of a plane I'd never heard of. It wasn't what I expected after reading your description. Very interesting! Regards, David
JackG
Cool little build, and thanks for the introduction to an obscure subject. ---------------------------- As for posting images, you cannot directly link them from desktop... but you can link directly from an image hosting site, such as flickr. regards, Jack

You should see a down arrow overlaid somewhere to the bottom right. Click this and you should get a list of different size versions of the image e.g. "Download Medium A pixels x Y pixels. Right click the size you want, medium is usually a good choice, this should display a context menu with an option saying something like, "Copy Link". Click that. Paste the link somewhere (Notepad or a.n.other text editor) so you don't lose it . Come back here and click edit/modify to open your post. Click the [insert other media] button (bottom right of the edit window) Paste the copied link into the box labelled URL. Save the post. That should do it. For example : ETA - Nice build by the way, and good to find out about another oddball type. Edited May 19, 2017 by TheLurker
John Masters
Thanks TheLurker... That worked! Weird way to cut paste, but I'll get used to it. Get ready for a flurry of builds, folks... --JDCM
Buzby061
Very nicely done. A type I've never heard of. It looks like the runt of the litter of Mr & Mrs Walrus. Pete
