Hamiltonian Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 Hi. I was recommended to post on this forum with a vexed question about RAF markings, which I'll pester you with in due course. I'm based in Scotland, been getting back into kit building for the last few years. Interests are Mercury-Apollo era spaceflight, flying boats, and a specific project in relation to WWII RAF aircraft. Based on my father's war-time photo album and the squadron records, I've given myself the project of building 1/48 scale models of 6 to 8 aircraft he flew (or at least may well have flown) 1942-46. The core six are a nicely balanced set of two Hurricanes, two Spitfires and two Thunderbolts, with an option on a Tiger Moth and a Harvard from his training in Rhodesia as was. I've completed one Hurricane (I'll post some photos), and my vexed question relates to the other Hurricane. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
