WEATHERING OVER MISSION MODELS WATER-BASED PAINTS

I'm switching from enamels to Mission Models water based paints and would like to know the best ways to weather my models.

Weather like anything else. Being acrylic, they should be impervious to any weathering products including those thinned with spirit-type ingredients.

Rule of thumb is to weather water based paints with oils, and oil based paints with water based ones. IOW, over acrylics, use oils. I don't weather often, but when I do I use an inexpensive set of basic colors, in tubes, I picked up at Michael's. I put a dab of the colors I want to use into a bottle cap, mix in some Grumbacher oil medium (II for slow drying, III for faster drying which is still slow).
