That was quick!  Will we see it tomorrow night?

Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to make tomorrow night :( And even if I could, I fear it's too fragile to transport...

Very nice early Flogger!!

How is the resin nose to use? Do you reccon it necessary?

It is significantly longer than the nose in the kit but I never measured anything against plans or photos. I would say it is a poor quality product: the surface detail is very shallow and indistinct and the whole nose is asymmetrical about the vertical axis. However, it does fit okay.

Great MiG-23 Jon!  Your finish is impeccable and the weathering looks very realistic.  I don't know how I missed this one back in May as I'm always checking out the MiGs.  Fantastic scale modeling here from a real craftsman:clap2:

question-What are the red dots on the underside just aft of the main gear?

Well it was May 2017! (where do the years go?...)

The red dots are automatic pressure relief doors...I'm not sure what that actually means...

Cheers

Well, that explains it; two years before I joined. 😀  No wonder I missed her!  Thanks for the info too. 🥂
